Covid, White Supremacy, and Ecological Crisis
COVID, WHITE SUPREMACY, and ECOLOGICAL CRISIS
Virtual Discussion
Saturday, May 29th,
1pm – 3pm CDT
Our presenters will introduce evidence that the industrial revolution vastly accelerated the disruption of earth’s “metabolism” ⁓ the interaction of all life forms on earth ⁓ and that the economic and social forces behind that disruption are the same forces that have fostered the twin pandemics of racism and COVID 19. Activists from various social movements will respond to the presentation from their own experiences, and the viewers will have the opportunity to engage in discussing how united action on the problems of our time can help transform the world.
Joyce Mills, Oakland, Cali. retired Public Health Nurse, Labor Party founding member, California Nurses Association’s “Just Health-Care” campaign lead organizer, and long-term LRNA member and Institute for Society and Revolution teacher.
