Morning, All; Please join me in celebrating International Woman’s Month at Central United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 2, 2025 and again on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 10:30am. You are invited to attend either or both events!!
Rev. Liz Theoharis will be the keynote speaker on March 2nd. She is the co-chairperson for the Poor Peoples Campaign and an early member of the National Welfare Rights Union. Please be prepared to stay and caucus with Rev. Liz after services where we will have a meal together and talk about things!
Shawn Fain is the President of the United Auto Workers (UAW) is the keynote speaker on Sunday, March 16th, 2025. He will deliver remarks about the importance of Women In Labor. Both events are being co-sponsored by Welfare Rights and Central Church (23 E. Adams, Detroit, 48226…at Woodward).
