 Project 2025: A Plan for Fascism

With the 2024 Presidential election looming on the horizon, every social force is being drawn into a historical battle over the future of the US and the world. The Heritage Foundation is one of the think tanks that directs the class war for politicians in both parties. The Heritage Foundation proclaims that open corporate fascism will save the United States.

Donald Trump, like Hitler, is simply the product and the front for a much larger movement of capitalist domination. While the media concentrates on Trump, the Heritage Foundation and similar groups are hidden in the background.

The Heritage Foundation’s new battle plan is Project 2025, ‘Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise.* This manifesto serves up marching orders for the Supreme Court, Congress, the Presidency, state governors, and any politician who wants campaign money.

Billed as “policy proposals”, Project 2025 lays out how to destroy government at every level. Specifically, how to abolish government powers to regulate corporations. It will abolish public health, public schools, corporate accountability, and our ability to protect the environment. The report pushes voter suppression, endorses open political violence, and calls for war with China.

Project 2025 justifies this nightmare by painting marginalized communities as evil, as less than human, as not deserving equal rights and protection, and as people whose ideas must be stamped out. Find out more at the links below….

Fascism is always about a business plan. What Project 2025 shows is how the economics and politics of corporate dictatorship reinforce themselves and how it is linked to the goal of the Christian Nationalist Cis-Gendered White Supremacist propaganda.

Many of these proposals were defeated in the election this past November by a rising popular movement. People broadly rejected abortion controls, book banning, censorship, attacks on African American History, and scapegoating LGBTQ+ folks along with attacks on all marginalized communities.

The battle is now joined. The fascist elements in the US today intend to win. Yet it is the thinking and consciousness of the rising forces of new generations that will determine the future of America and the world. One task of revolutionaries is to develop our collective awareness in these new and dangerous times.
