Defeat Project 2025

Juneteenth marks the abolition of slavery in Texas, 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. During the Civil War, hundreds of slave owners took their slaves and moved to Texas. They knew that the Union army was tied down in the East and hoped they could continue their genocidal slavery.

Juneteenth and George Floyd: Juneteenth was made a federal holiday in 2021, the first new holiday since Martin Luther King’s birthday in 1983. The George Floyd Rebellion in 2020 forced the government to take this step. Racism in the United States goes far beyond individual feelings. It is baked into every social institution and requires a political revolution to systematically abolish the policies that harm every single person in this country, regardless of skin color.

Project 2025 aims at systematically dismantling the federal government – a legal coup. It gives the President supreme power to use Executive Orders to “legally” reverse many of our civil rights to reverse racial equality and erase gender & LGBTQ+ identity from government protection. We know where this is headed. Abolishing of a federal right to abortion necessarily leads to the criminalization of women and their supporters.

Project 2025 will legalize all the historical forms of American genocide. It is a program to abolish Black History, among other things. You can bet that these fascist forces will abolish Juneteenth as well as MLK’s birthday.

Trump is a front for Project 2025: Project 2025 is a mandate for Government at all levels. Donald Trump, like Hitler, is simply the product of and the front for a much larger movement of capitalist domination. While the media concentrates on Trump, the Heritage Foundation and similar groups are hidden in the background. Defeating Trump in 2024 will not stop the drive to implement Project 2025. The only language that power speaks is power.

Defeating Project 2025: The only way to break this power is to strip them of their claim to own all the wealth of humanity as their private property. This is the key to achieve political power we all need to guarantee government meets the needs of all people and not billionaires.
