A Dialogue for Revolutionaries

Sponsored by League of Revolutionaries for a New America

Republicans have pledged to pass a national abortion ban if they win the 2022 elections. We can beat back this threat, and reconstruct American democracy, if we unite with the upsurge of people everywhere fighting for water, housing, health care, the planet, and all our basic needs and freedoms.

  1. We are witnessing the historic implosion of the LA City Council over the vile, racist conversation between three longtime and influential councilmembers. It is time for all three to resign or be removed, and be replaced by some of the new young candidates who are rejecting racism and corruption, and fighting for the basic human needs of the people, like housing and health care. Join us on Saturday, October 22 for “Building the Progressive Tidal Wave in the 2022 Elections”. Hear from some of LA’s new leaders and others, to discuss the back story, the political moment, and the next steps forward. Let’s influence what happens next in LA and all across the country. 2. Surveys confirm that the majority of Americans want progressive social change for our country – but, yes, obstructionist Members of Congress block the legislation, programs and funding that would deliver it. I have a spoken word/protest song out on this topic, “Pop Vox! (The Vote Song)” that frames the issue and makes the point that we have to get out and VOTE to change things. Give it a listen at the free link below. This song is available royalty-free to any progressive/liberal candidate, campaign or organization that wants to use it for rallies, events and vote drives – feel free to share, I wrote it to make an impact now and in 2024!
